Our Treasure Boxes collection — home to the Antique Box, Treasure Box, Wood Dragon and the beloved Book of Secrets — has earned a devoted following among those who appreciate a good secret as much as a satisfying mechanism. Safe Too is the next level — a full redesign, the next generation, and yes, it's safe too.

Real bank vaults use combination dial locks. So does Safe Too. Dial in your chosen code — one, two, or three digits, your choice — align it with the pointer, and the door handle releases. Turn it to swing the door open, and a letter indicator on the door face switches between OPEN and CLOSED — a small but satisfying detail that makes the whole thing feel remarkably real.

The mechanism inside the door is fully visible when open: gears and levers — all working together, all exposed, all satisfying to look at. The design completes the picture: dark brown tones with deep red accents give Safe Too a modern, vault-like aesthetic that looks as serious as it functions. On top of the safe, a coin slot marked "Drop a coin" feeds into a visible rolling track on the side panel, dropping coins into a compartment at the base.

And if you ever forget your combination, rest assured: Safe Too has you covered. A specific sequence of moves releases the side panel for emergency access, letting you reset the code and empty the coin compartment at the same time. Three combination-setting keys are included in the kit, because getting your code right the first time requires a steady hand, and Ugears always plans for that.
